Voice of the Month: Natalie Jobity – The Brilliance Unveiler

At Women Speak Up, we celebrate women who don’t just find their voice—but use it to elevate others, lead with authenticity, and spark lasting change. This month, we are honored to feature Natalie Jobity, a TEDx speaker, bestselling author, and transformational leadership coach whose life and work embody the power of presence, purpose, and unapologetic brilliance.

Redefining Success on Her Own Terms

Natalie Jobity blends over 25 years of marketing, image consulting, entrepreneurship, and coaching experience with her lived reality as a Black immigrant woman who climbed the corporate ladder—and then chose to rewrite the definition of success.

Leaving behind a VP role in market research in the financial services sector, Natalie launched Elan Image Management, a nationally recognized image consultancy. Her vision? To empower women to show up fully, own their power, and lead boldly from the inside out.

She’s been featured on TV, led transformational workshops, and authored two impactful books:

Frumpy to Fabulous: Flaunting It (Amazon Best Seller)
It’s Your Time to Shine, Girl — a leadership guide for women ready to rise.

The TEDx Stage: A Full-Circle Moment

One of Natalie’s most defining moments came on the TEDx stage, where she shared the truth she’s lived and taught for years:

“We’re not here to shrink. We’re here to show up boldly, take up space, and lead from every dimension of who we are.”

Her message struck a chord, echoing in the hearts of women who’ve long been told to dim their light or play small.

Tools of Empowerment

Natalie doesn’t just inspire—she equips. Her She Shines Affirmation Card Deck offers daily encouragement to women leaders, reinforcing confidence, clarity, and the belief that their voice matters. Whether through workshops, books, or online platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube, Natalie consistently offers women the practical tools to step into their power.

Rooted in Inspiration

Growing up, Natalie didn’t see many women who looked like her using their voices boldly. But through the writings of Maya Angelou, Brené Brown, and Toni Morrison, she found a blueprint—and eventually, her own path.

“I was conditioned to shrink. Seeing women shine through their voice impacted me deeply. Now I do the same for others.”

Advice for Women Finding Their Voice

Natalie believes your voice doesn’t have to be loud—it just has to be true.

“Start by journaling your truths—uncensored and just for you. Then speak them in safe spaces. Every time you set a boundary or say what you need, you’re building your voice muscle.”

What It Means to Be Voice of the Month

“It’s an honor and a privilege. I’m a huge proponent of self-advocacy for women. We must use our voices to deliver our thoughts, opinions, and truths—this is how we change the game. I’ll always use my voice to uplift and empower other women. It’s part of my mission here on earth.”
