Women Speak Up is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, dedicated to empowering women by funding internships, offering creative and professional resources, and hosting annual events that inspire growth, community, and self-expression.
Since 2018, our signature Women Speak Up event has served as a vibrant celebration of women’s voices and journeys—bringing together artists, business owners, poets, guest speakers, and sponsors from across New Jersey and New York. In 2020, we officially became a nonprofit, strengthening our mission to uplift women locally and globally through education, creativity, and advocacy.
We pride ourselves on creating inclusive spaces where women can fully embrace who they are. From art to entrepreneurship, we believe in the power of storytelling and community-led change.

Our Community
The Women Speak Up Community is one that is always welcoming women that are in need of a safe space and a home to express themselves. With the help of our creative director, as well as our interns and our long-time followers, we are able to create a platform for women to get the resources that they need as well as connect with others who share the same struggles and interests. We are always looking to be a helping hand to someone in need, as our team is working around the clock to make sure that our world is a better, safer place for women everywhere. We welcome women of any age from any background to join us in our journey, while we also help you with yours.
