Voice of the Month: Rossana Tagliabue- Creative Innovator and Dreamer
At Women Speak Up, we celebrate women who don’t just find their voice—but use it to elevate others, lead with authenticity, and spark lasting change. This month, we are honored to feature Rossana Tagliabue, a Latina author, entrepreneur, and community ambassador for The Women’s Social Club.
Challenging the Meaning of Achievement
Rossana (Ro) is a multi-passionate creative, content strategist, and author, as well as the heart behind Raíces Creative Space — a studio built to inspire creativity, community, and transformation. Migrating from Peru at 10 with big dreams, she grew up creating to feel seen and connected. Her journey began in social work and evolved into marketing, where she blended strategy with storytelling.
After earning her MBA in Digital Marketing and working across nonprofits, small businesses, and Fortune 500 brands, Ro chose to follow her heart and build something of her own. At Raíces, she leads expressive arts workshops that weave together creativity, spirituality, and healing.
She believes creativity is medicine — and that everyone deserves a space to heal, be seen, and express their truth.
"I want for my work to help people alchemize challenges into purpose and reconnect with themselves through the process of creation and self-reflection." - Ro
The Author Who Turns Reflection Into Connection
Her inspiration goes deeper than the young girl from Peru, she says authors like Brené Brown, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Mel Robbins, have inspired her through their “reflective magical contributions” to the world.
Being a multi-author book herself in Change Makers: Paving a New Pathway on Purpose, she says the true beauty of being an author is that even if you’re not aware of it, your words, thoughts, and ideas mean something in the world. Somewhere in the world, you’re letting someone know that they’re seen—and never alone.
After the co-collaboration, she went on to self-publish, The Little Book of Hope, a book filled with poetry and letters—each a gentle reminder that hope is never out of reach, even in life’s most difficult seasons. When you feel lost, uncertain, or weighed down, Rossana’s book offers words to lift your spirit and help you find the courage to keep going.
"Doubt your assumptions, not your abilities."

Finding Herself Beyond the Business
Rossana has made so many long lasting connections throughout her journey of owning a business, but she says that with a lot self-work, she’s found her true self.
“Deep dives into my subconscious, hours of self-reflection, trips to healing retreats, and trying out different modalities, all to peel myself piece by piece and find who I am.”
Merging Entrepreneurship with Empathy
Alongside being an author, an entrepreneur, and a advocate for all of the creative dreamers in the world, Rossana also a community ambassador for the Central Jersey Women’s Social Club. There, she’s done event planning, managed the community’s engagement and development. She creates user-generated content (UGC) for local businesses and non-profits.
At Harbor of Hope, a compassionate space for immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those on the path to healing from trauma, she reads poetry to nurture the hope into children, teens, and young adults.
A Hub for the Dreamers and Doers
When Rossana and her husband, first started Raíces, they wanted their community to understand the troubles of first starting out as a creative entrepreneur. They created this space to get these people on their feet and start the career that they’ve dreamed of.
“A place where photographers, podcasters, freelancers, business owners, and creatives of all kinds can come together to bring their visions to life without breaking the bank. Whether you're looking for studio space, equipment, creative direction or just a supportive community, we've got you covered!”
Advice for Women Finding Their Voice
Rossana wants all women around the globe to honor your mind and body as it already is. Heal and move forward.
“Keep going, be honest with yourself, journal, talk to yourself in the mirror. Figure out what's your parents' and what's yours, what's your teacher's and what's your own. We have the tendency of picking up traits from others and incorporating them to ourselves as if they were missing puzzle pieces, but just because they fit, that doesn't mean they are part of the puzzle that will create your picture. Be discerning of what's truly yours.”
What It Means to Be Voice of the Month
“It has truly been a delightful surprise. I honestly don’t know who nominated me or who thought of me in this way...who felt that my voice mattered. I’ve struggled with that before, so this is the reassurance and beautiful reminder that my voice is creating an impact. Even if it’s just for one person, I know I’m wholeheartedly on the right path; aligned with my purpose and mission.”
