Shield Her Program
A transformative support initiative created to protect and empower women during pregnancy and after pregnancy loss. Shield Her prioritizes safety, confidentiality, and compassionate access to resources through a fully virtual program model.
About the Program
Shield Her was developed to meet women where they are—emotionally, physically, and geographically. The program is primarily delivered through secure virtual platforms to ensure participant safety, privacy, and accessibility. For participants located near our home offices, limited in-person meetings may be offered in New York and New Jersey on a case-by-case basis.
What Shield Her Offers
Digital Safety Guidance
Education and practical tools to help participants protect their digital footprint, safeguard personal information, and navigate online spaces safely—especially during emotionally vulnerable moments.
Legal Advocacy Support
Access to educational materials and referral-based connections that help women understand their rights, available protections, and advocacy options in challenging or unsafe situations.
Mental Health & Support Circles
Referral-based access to licensed mental health professionals, along with optional peer-led support circles and healing spaces focused on grief, emotional wellness, and resilience.
How Shield Her Works
- Participants join by submitting an interest or referral-based sign-up form.
- Once enrolled, participants receive curated resources, program updates, and invitations to virtual sessions.
- Opportunities are offered based on availability, referrals, and individual needs.
- All participation is optional, flexible, and centered on emotional safety and respect.
Confidentiality & Safety
Shield Her places confidentiality and participant safety at the core of its programming. All virtual sessions and communications are handled with discretion, and personal information is never shared without consent. Our fully virtual structure allows participants to engage from a location that feels safe and comfortable to them.
Access & Eligibility
Shield Her is currently available to women located within the United States. The program is donation-supported and offers free participation opportunities based on referrals and available funding.
